A process that hurts
Software for the process your software does not fit
Two days with the people who run the process, and your first part of it runs as software. Within a week it is in your own cloud account, and you keep everything, whether or not you continue.
“We run this every day on spreadsheets and e-mail, and the standard product only covers half of it.”
How it goes
-
A free 30-minute call
You tell us what your business does and which process hurts. Four questions decide whether a workshop makes sense, then a short demo.
-
Two days in the workshop
Day one is your process, told by the people who run it. On day two the first part becomes software while you watch.
-
Thirty days to try it
The first part runs in the cloud and your people use it with real cases. We check in once, in week two.
-
The next parts, then live
One part at a time, until the process is complete enough to go live in your own cloud account.
-
Living with it
When your business changes, the software follows. Care keeps it running and current, month by month.
A Tuesday at 16:40
Take Amperia, the example company our demos use. Amperia puts chargers into supermarket car parks. Drivers charge while they shop, on one of two tariffs: fixed, always full speed, or flexible, cheaper, but charging may be slowed down while the grid is strained.
At 16:40 the grid operator calls: take 150 kW off in one grid area, from 17:00 to 18:30. Today someone in operations opens a spreadsheet, works out which drivers in that area are on the flexible tariff, and turns their sessions down by hand, one by one. The rule that matters most, never slow down a driver on the fixed tariff, lives in that person’s head.
In the workshop that rule is told in the words of the people who know it, drawn as a story everyone in the room recognises, and cut into the first part that would be used next Monday: answering a grid call on one screen, where only flexible sessions can be turned down and the app refuses the others.
At the end of day two that part runs, with Amperia’s own sites and chargers entered. It is not a mock-up: it is the first version of the software Amperia will use. The next parts follow the business: the grid call arriving in the app by itself, the sessions turned down and up automatically, and each call settled from what was really delivered.
What you keep
- The software, in a repository you own
- The description of your process, in your own words, as a book you can forward
- A map of the next parts, in your words
- An open-source foundation: you are never tied to us
Frequently asked questions
Do we need developers?
No. We build it with you. If someone on your side wants to change it later, training makes that possible, and nothing requires it.
What if the first day shows it does not fit?
Then day two does not happen and only day one is invoiced. You keep what was written down.
Who decides how the process should work?
You and the people who run it. We ask, model it and turn it into software.
